Either that, or they're just milking the game for money before it dies (create the problem, sell the solution) now they have enough whales backing them up (no offense to you, thanks for making the game free-to-play).
I dislike the company and the upper management running this clown fiesta, who clearly don't even play their game enough to understand how it works on a fundamental level. I love the game for its arcady mechanics, attention to detail, and, most of all, for giving us the ability to outplay and outsmart one another. WG was taken to court and gave refunds to players who bought the containers. This was not stated on their articles, website, or any of their sources, meaning that the consumer was not fully informed of the product they're buying. The Christmas container fiasco of 2020 happened because multiple CCs happened to simulate, in a controlled environment, WG's apparent drop chance (for that year, which is why no one complained about them before) and found that Makarov and the ship short list was guaranteed/rigged.
Thunderer range nerf, CV rework, commander rework). They fail to see the problems behind their game and implement often useless solutions (e.g. They used to listen to players back in 2016-2018 with limited success (because players sometimes don't even know what they want either, leading to the overpowered iteration of Graf Zeppelin), but it seems that, based on their actions, they don't listen to CCs (see Flambass' CC program experience), Supertesters, or the playerbase anymore. WG has used the same business model they used for World of Tanks on WoWS, which allows them to profit off the loss of consumer trust. You complain about toxic communities but you don't make an attempt to understand the reasons as to why they're furious at the companies that develop the games.
